Philosophy

Dr. Davidson believes in assessment as a comprehensive, holistic, and therapeutic process. People are complex and dynamic, thus an assessment needs to delve into their functioning in all aspects of their life.

Each evaluation is individually tailored to the client. Dr. Davidson uses best practices, which includes multiple measures, various types of assessment, and a variety of sources to complete a psychological evaluation.

At the end of the assessment process, the family will have a comprehensive picture of the child’s strengths, needs for support, and ways to help the child thrive across settings.

I’m Here to Help

Usually by the time parents consider having their child evaluated, they are overwhelmed and have endured months or even years of watching their child struggle.

Frequently, families who reach out to me are wondering if their child meets criteria for a Specific Learning Disability, AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or if their child would qualify for supports through an IEP or 504 plan. Through a comprehensive and integrative approach, I can work with you to answer these questions and seek appropriate services to support your child.
